Welcome to

St. Andrew’s
Preschool & Childcare

Play. Learn. Grow.

Sweet Treats

In our infant classroom, the infants are reaching their developmental milestones in a loving and nurturing environment.  The teachers guide them through gross motor skills such as tummy time, rolling over, crawling, pulling up to standing, and much more!  They also read stories, sing songs, and participate in sensory activities.

Little Explorers

In our one year old classroom, the toddlers are reaching their developmental milestones in a loving and nurturing environment.  They are increasing their vocabulary through stories and songs,  working on gross motor skills on their playground, creating crafts, and participating in center activities that are engaging and meaningful.

Ocean Buddies

In our toddler classroom, our teachers support each child's growth through developmentally appropriate activities.  Children are exposed to a variety of learning opportunities, including stories, songs, creative arts, cooperative activities, and hands-on exploration of their environment.  Expanding on their vocabulary is one of the areas that this age group grows significantly in from the beginning of the school year to the end of the school year.

Marvelous Monsters

In our three year old classroom, we continue the child's path with their social emotional development, gross & fine motor skills, language/reading readiness, and math/science readiness through a hands-on approach to learning.  They will participate in a multitude of engaging activities with the teachers' guidance and support in order to reach their developmental milestones.  The curriculum also is carried into the outdoor classroom on our campus for the children to use their creativity and explore!

Hungry Caterpillars

In our four year old classroom, the children are preparing for Kindergarten by building on their language/literacy skills such as beginning reading/phonetics, recognizing letters and numbers, working cooperatively with peers, and strengthening independence through daily routines.

By the end of the school year, this age group is more than ready for their transition to Kindergarten and their self confidence is strong for a great foundation to start their Elementary school path!

What Parents Think

"We have been fortunate enough to have children at St. Andrew’s Preschool for almost four years and we could not be happier. From the Director to all of the teachers, the environment our children are in is simply the best. The communication and how well we as parents are kept informed about all aspects of the preschool is above and beyond. The growth and learning is evident in our children and the love they have for their teachers shows how much they are truly cared for every day. We could not recommend Ms. Megan and her amazing staff at St. Andrew’s Preschool more, they are fantastic!"

Our Approach

The curriculum of St. Andrew’s Preschool and Childcare Center is based on the concepts of Creative Curriculum which is aligned with Early Learning Foundations of Learning.  These concepts consist of hands-on learning, age-appropriate activities that are child directed.  The curriculum engages the whole child in the areas of literacy, mathematics, science and social studies.  The method uses is the context of play in which the child learns through meaningful experiences guides by the teachers.  Multi-sensory and multicultural awareness are also incorporated into the curriculum.  The children are moving, exploring, and creating in a theme-based environment and given opportunities to discover and explore independently and confidently.
